innovation- in copy pasting. in future we are getting better copy pasting machines exclusively developed by apple

I don't think you can claim "innovation" on the iPhone processors, unless everyone else who has done big.Little kind of processors and incremental power bumps also gets the "innovator" badge handed to them. I also find the audio move less about them innovating and more about them being able to claim certification money on something that has been a free and ubiquitous standard...and honestly, hasn't run into any technical hurdles making it worth replacing.

I might give them a little credit for innovating on the AirPods, but it feels like it is giving them a bit too much credit for what amounts to making a pairing process really only a little easier (and at the expense of openness & flexibility) and including a charging case for them (itself a replicated feature). Technically they innovated, but it feels wrong to label and compare this innovation to the innovation of Apple's past that people are accustomed to.

I also question how much credit to give to innovation when it feels like Apple said "you know, we can't get a piece of the MFi action on headphone because they are universal. We already get to charge people for effing compatible charging cables which do exactly the same as open USB standard cables...so lets do the same for headphones". I find this deplorable. You can try to tell me it is for advancement, but tell me the actual benefits of removing the jack and moving towards lightening, then tell me you believe it is for the good of technology and the industry or for the good of Apple's inflated coffers.

And then tell me if you'd fairly call that innovation.
