I belive it was mistranslated The product was probably meant to say that
it's double shielded to prevent radio interference from signal noise.

Yes.....Yes people are that stupid. Not everyone is entirely that stupid until they walk in the door of Bestbuy though. I've been talked to by them so many times, and just nodded my head to see where they went lol

I remember when they would constantly tell you to buy the 60 dollar HDMI cables, instead of the 10 dollar ones.

same with the optical cables. my brother ( who knows NOTHING about tech ) got talked in to buying an optical cable for £50!!!

these sales men deserve to be punished, poor customers lol

Best Buy Rep: Yeah, You also should get the Anti-Virus 3D glasses, surge protector, controller, and power adaptor. Because the last thing you want is a virus getting into your brain, or sneak in to your PS3 and remove all your save data.
