Im not an Android or LG fan but one of the guys at my works had the current LG Nexus and it is a very nice and solid device and this one is looking the same too. Im sure it will sell millions like the last one and for me if your going to buy a Android phone it would have to be the Nexus ones as they always seem to be the most stable and have the lest lag issues out of all the Android phones with it being Native Android. Think this is now the start of the end of BlackBerry. I wish it was not as it would be nice to have 4 big players in the market but I just don't see it happening.
This is one thing I like about Microsoft is they make software for more or less everyone unlike Apple and Google.
That said I don't think we will ever see Linux become a big fore in desktop and laptop Computers. I've not used it for around 6 years now but I always found my self needing to boot into windows to do most tasks but I can see why people use it.
Im glad Nokia went with windows phone in the end as the market with just two os's is bad for the industry Mio. With Nokias own os RIM and palm all doing bad there was only ios and android to pick from but with Nokia going to Windows phone I think it was always going to make the OS get into 3rd place and with it getting closer and closer to 10% market share I think it will be interesting to see how Microsoft apple and Google respond to keep all 3 ox's doing well.

It will be interesting to see the iphone 5s against the one and Lumina 925 but I still think the 925 will come out on top.
@SilentNegotiator You do know Android and Windows Mobile are very a like. The biggest issue with Windows mobile is you needed a stylus because of the screens that were used at that time and the OS was often slow because the hardware was not quite there just like the early Windows Tablets but if you look at a device Like the HD2 it really showed how good Windows Mobile was as the device was very powerful for its time and it had the new multi touch screen.

I agree the App store is part of the reason why the Iphone sold well but it was also because it was a simple smart phone when it came out. Windows Mobile had apps and 1000s of apps made for it but you had to search the web for them. What Apple did was said we will make the app store and you can add your apps here for customers to use making it more simple and easy for the none tech people.

This is nothing new Nokia has been doing this since the Lumina started against Samsung and apple. If you also look at the low end Nokia lumia's you will see that the iphone 5c is a copy of it. Apple have not brought anything new to the phone world for quite a few years and Nokia is pointing this out.
I find it funny in what apple do with there devices. They bring one out every year and nothing really changes but people who love apple products go mad over it. For me the phone market is now at a point where each device is not really improving over the other. For me the phone that fits my needs the most is the Lumia 925 but I don't go around saying its better than any other on the market or that I want another phone over it.

@PS4OUR I agree they would. But if we are now all honest no matter if you a Apple, Android or Windows Phone fan there is noting that is ground breaking coming from anyone. Smart phones have kind of gone to what they can be and they are just being given things that are not needed like the none contact gestures on the GS4 and the finger print on the 5s.
The one thing apple are good at is making what they put out sound new and amazing to the none tech crud. I would in IT and when the iphone came out people were excited about it in the tech world but as time has gone by they have picked up a android or windows phone device and it is the people who want to look cool and don't want a change that carry on buying the iphone.

Its not looking good for BlackBerry at the moment. There new devices are nice and work well but they don't stand out against the Iphone, Galaxy and Lumia devices. I kind of hope they look at going down the WP rout as there are to many Android devices out there now and having blackberry and Nokia fighting for space in the WP environment could be a + for WP. I do wish Blackberry could make a dent in the market though as having more players in the market is better for us customers as the mob...
I do for me I find Windows Phone the best OS on the market for what I do. The its missing apps thing I have not found to be true as everything I use my phone for there is an app for it. It is missing some games but im not a gamer and it seems most of the games are on the platform now.
As for the existence I have yet to have a issue with the device. The OS is always very fast and slick. Live tiles are great for getting the information you need without going into apps.

I have had my 925 for a month now and love it. The battery is the best ived used on any smart phone and the camera is un matched by any other phone apart from the 1020.
I agree MSE seems to be the one that causes less issues than others we have used on home pc's plus the offline scanner MS have released is really good for infected pc's.
You know I have heard the lads at work that have an iphone say this. It will be interesting to see what the majority of none tech people think of the new ios. So far I have had 3 people 2 at work and my little brother say they don't like the look of the update and don't like some of the things they have moved round like how to delete a users text message or how the menu bar now looks at the bottom.
