@Deadpoolio I agree with you but they are still sold. They don't give them to retailers the retailers have to buy them from Microsoft and they will only buy them if the demand is there.

Yes its not 10 million to customers but there wont be millions sitting on store shelves.

We all know the ps4 has sold more than the Xbox one and wiiu but that's still not to say the Xbox one is not selling well.

This is one thing I really like about Microsoft over Google, Amazon, Apple ect is they always make their products work with multiple devices.

I really hope they can make this product a success as for me ide rather have something like this on my wrist than a smart watch that needs charging every few hours and costs £350 to £400.

Microsoft really need to start opening their own stores outside of the US to show off the products they name make as for me...

All the Lumia devices are great in their price ranges.

I have owned the 900 and now the 925 and have enjoyed having them both. I think when m contract is up next year ill be looking at getting another Lumina device and I hope Microsoft carry on making the quality in all price ranges Nokia have been.

I know windows phone gets a lot of stick ESP on the app side but unless you want the latest games to play on a phone (which I don't I have a 3ds for gaming on...

I hope this is true as I think we need 3 or even 4 OS's in the phone market to give us choice. I don't like IOS as for me its just too simple and I've never liked the look of the phones. I'm not a massive android fan as I used windows mobile and Android early on which is more or less the same thing.

I wanted a change and moved to wp and love it the Lumia devices are very good and have great quality to them too.

Its each to there own but ide li...

It should be interesting to see how Microsoft Push Lumia going forward as we now know that the nokia name is being dropped from their devices.

I am kind of hoping they make some different versions of phones as ide love to see MS pushing a phone for photos, Phone for business, Phone for gaming and a phone for price as well as other parts of the market.

I have a Lumia 925 and it has been one of the best phones ive owned and has an amazing camera.

Its really simple to work out the difference between the mini and mini 3 it has a fingerprint reader that is the only difference but what I don't get is the reviews give this and the air 3 amazing reviews and I still can't work out why.

Yes they are both easy to use and look nice but there is really not much difference from the last gen ipad now.

If anyone else did this but apple they would get slated. I mean bragging about being 18% thinner than the ...

Haha no as MS have not always used numbers anyway. People forget we had 98 the 98se then it was XP and Vista before they got back to Windows. Even before that we had 3.5 ect.

Windows 10 is Microsoft reaction to the business world. Microsoft know that its main sales are in business and seeing the amount of companys not moving from 7 to 8 they knew they needed a OS that is for 7 and 8 users.

I like the look of the new OS and I see it being a hit as it seems to ...

Sony have not been in a good place for a long time. They still make great products and I still look to buy a Sony product like TV's sound systems I've even owned a few Sony MP3 players over the years and they walked all over the IPod but Sony is no longer seen as a cool company like apple and Samsung.

I loved there phones back in the early 00s the cyber shot phones were amazing. I remember getting an expire a few years ago when they moved to android and it was shocki...

@badz149 and other people talking about specs etc. One thing people are forgetting is if you look at the majority of Iphone users they are none tech people and even though I hate saying it its the best OS for these users.

I have been working in the IT industry since 2002 and I remember when windows mobile came out. Microsoft said smart phones were going to be the next big thing in phones and they also brought out slates too and said tablets were the future of computers.

ddkshah I agree with what your saying in most of your comment but the issue Sony now have is company's Like LG and Samsung are now seen to make the same quality products as Sony and they also cost less.

Sonya price is what is hurting them. Also people will carry on to over look Sony in the smart phone market unless they can do something to stand out like Samsung did with android and this is not easy to do as alot of people have fallen into the same trap of just looking at...

I do find it funny what apple and everyone else is doing now. I remember getting my HTC HD2 back in 2009 which is 5 years ago now and it had a 4.3" screen and after that I got a HTC Titan in 2011 which had a 4.7" screen and I was told by plenty of Android and Iphone users that a screen size that big was too big and would never take off yeah here we are in 2014 and apple are playing catch up.

For me the phone industry is why behind where it should be in terms of what...

Yeah that is one thing I am going to take the mick out of some of the lads at my work when they get an iphone 6 as I remember getting my HTC HD2 years ago and it had a 4.3'' screen and everyone said it was too big and the same when I got the HTC titan and now everyone wants bigger screens.

I did love routing my phone back when it was windows mobile and the early days of android but I just got to a point where I wanted a phone that just worked and found windows phone t...

I think it will be interesting to see how this one sells. I'm seeing mixed feelings at work over what they wanted from an iphone. Some said they wanted a bigger screen others said they did not want a bigger screen.

For me the best phones have been the windows phones because they work for what I want them too and because I am very heavy user of Microsoft products it fits my life better than android and IOS do.

But when you take a look at all 3 os's now...

I am the same I'm not. Massive fan of ios or android but its all personal preference. For me I don't use my surface for media I use if for doing work at home which is editing my web site, emails, one note, syncing photos, and I also work from home with it too using remote desktop, vnc and our help desk. I could not do all of this on my iPad or xoom when I had them.

I'm looking forward to seeing Windows 9. I am a big fan of 8.1 and I now think the touch side is the best of any of the touch os's on the market but the desktop/none touch side can be improved and if they can do this I think Microsoft could be on for a winner os.

I have to disagree. If Nokia had gone android it would of ended up going the same way as HTC and others.

Windows phone is a very good OS and the app store is not as bad as people make out. I have had windows phone since the 1st batch came out and I got a hd7. I now own a Lumina 925 and for me its one of the best phones on the market. Its fast, stable and ice never had an issue finding an app I want on Wp8. Ok there are some games missing from the store but I don't play g...

Ive not had an issue finding an app in the windows phone store it seems to have everything I need and my other half needs too. The only thing it is lacking from what I can see is some of the newer games ios and android have and betting apps but I don't use any of them and found everything else I need.

Like I say its personal choice. Ive owned most os's on the market and found windows phone fits me the best. None are perfect but all have plus and minus points.

If you want a metal phone look at the htc one m8 or htc one m8 for windows phone. The hardware is great. the camera is not bad too and it also feels amazing but the choice of os is a personal one for me I prefer windows phone just because it fits my needs better but they are both good os's.

For me now though the phone market has become less and less exciting over the last few years as designs have been the same yoy and nothing has changed too much in the os's too.

I don't know why I have never really liked chrome I think it maybe because I use Bing for my search and chrome works better with the google stuff. I have found my self moving from browser to browser over the last few years but Since getting IE 11 I have found this one works best for me as I have a WP, Surface 2 and a Windows 8 pc at work so this fits my life the best.

I think when all said and done its just personal preference to which browser is the best as they all seem...
