5 Things You Can Do With $120,000 Rather Than A Samsung UHD TV

Everyone has really been hyped by what Samsung could do with a TV, at the CES 2014 in Las Vagas, there were pretty much earth-shattering revelations about the monster Ultra High Definition TV. Little did we know that getting the TV would cost an arm and a leg.

Now, what's in the TV? A 5,120 x 2,160 resolutions on a 105-inch curved display, a wide aspect ratio of 21:9, and built-in apps. For an elusive price tag, Samsung would also send one of its “Field Engineers” to exclusively walk you through all the features of the UHD TV.

So I have wondered along, the price of a TV, just one Samsung TV could literally change the lives of alot of persons. Let's see what you can get with $120,000.

1. 50 Samsung Galaxy S5

Instead of one gigantic wall behind your physical wall, why not 50 pieces of Samsung Galaxy S5 and share on a road trip? That's $580 X 50 = $29,000. We are still left with a little below $100,000.

2. 50 Samsung 55-inch Smart TV

Unless you have a very big living room, or plan to get a new home because you want Samsung 105-inch UHDTV to fit in nicely, then you are better off with a Samsung 55-inch Smart TV. You could also get 49 extra Smart TVs, for friends and colleagues. One Samsung 55-inch Smart TV costs approximately $700 x 50 = $35,000.

So we are left with $56,000. So much money but we have to keep spending.. :D

3. 50 Samsung Gear 2

The wave of smartwatches has really been impressive. Everyone loves smartwatches and while we await the hotly anticipated Apple iWatch or iTime, whatever it is eventually named. We could settle for a Samsung Gear 2. 50 pieces of Samsung Gear 2 costs $15,000. We are left with $41,000.

4. 50 Nights At A Five-star Hotel In Las Vagas

We could get a decent hotel in Las Vagas and we won't be spending more than $400 a night, that's $400 x 50 = $20,000. We are left with $19,000 and we do one more thing with it.

5. Charity

It wouldn't make too much sense to spend so much and neglect those people who are really in need. So we will give up the rest, I mean everything left from our spending spree, at least we have learnt how to spend like Yahoo's Marissa Mayer, but we are not buying startups to annihilate them, we are buying to share the love.

I'd take 50K and put it away for my daughters education and the rest would be used on home improvements and paying off my car.

Too big for my fireplace

edit: I'd pay off my house and use the other 25k to buy my wife that Kia Optima she wants.

Think how happy you would be though, when after being homeless you finally find a spot to plug this thing in and see all your favorite shows in stunning 4K!
