For me, it's all the NON-Console games where you "need" all the power you can get. I'm only playing on 1080p (need new monitor), but I max everything out and like to play many CPU intensive games as well as GPU intensive. And to get higher-than 60 FPS you need quite a punch.
RTS games, upcoming Open-Worlders (Cyberpunk 2077), these are going to take a lot of power. THOUGH, we do see amazing things with highly optimized games on ANY platform. That goes with...
Private companies have generally been the innovators when it comes to most technology. And a company can consist of a single person obviously.
The best thing governments can do for its people is in the arena of legislation that suits its citizens best.
Leave the rest to them and only AID them in their endeavors.
On behalf of the world of mobile electronics, the world thanks you old guy :)
P.S. Samsung has been dealt with, nothing to worry about.
Silly not to bring the key though...
You should have done this long ago, before the torrent collapse
This was my thinking as well, go smaller. Smaller = cheaper.
Pun was intended... you know it was. DON'T LIE TO US!!! NOT YOU!
I thought they were mostly for saving paper.
If they don't make 32 the default, the least they could do is give you some in between, 24 or something.
Yes, personally for the disabled I'd like to see medical advances that would allow them to lead better lives. But if all else fails, hook them up to the Matrix already!
Not to differ with you and certainly not to under appreciate his contributions, but it is often that ideas and concepts are conceived long before they can be definitively "proved" to our satisfaction.
Of course he was, I mean seriously, almost nobody believes in the ancient Roman deities any more.
Both my and my girlfriend's laptops have suffered. I have an i7 with 16 GB of RAM, seems faster than when it was running Windows 8, but hasn't come anywhere near as close as ANY computer I have run Windows 7 on.
Performance, not to mention general familiarity with "where things are" make 7 the choice for me. 10 improved over 8, but both are downgrades from 7 in many important areas for me, in my opinion. I would be much happier/cope-better with 10 if not for...
Everything, performance-wise, being faster/snappier in every way.
I'm going back to Windows 7 soon.
I wouldn't be opposed to a single gol'dang ad if:
They were unobtrusive, none of that mouse-over garbage or "hijack" your screen bs and they would ALL have to have a standard location, size, functioning and appearance "X" (close) button that responds IMMEDIATELY to being pressed/clicked.
They are minimal, resource-wise, cause negligible performance drain and lag, slowing down your browser.
And this is just for THEI...
I need some bullet proof skin. And a structural integrity nano-mesh covering my skeleton.
Wow, start working with developers and secure optimisation with your tech.. and lookoit for Intel’s showing whatever that may be.
