Gadgehit.com writes: "Sony and Panasonic are reportedly in talks to make OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) television sets, in order to stave off competition from rival technology firms in South Korea. Sony already was in talks with a Taiwanese company last month, which could provide the capacity to produce OLED TVs at a large scale. The Sony-Panasonic alliance would mean that both companies could compete with rivals on price, whilst taking less of a financial risk."
