Brain Pacemaker Could Improve Memory In Alzheimers Patients

You've probably heard of an artificial pacemaker for hearts -- a medical device that's implanted in the chest to regulate a person's heart rate. A brain pacemaker is similar, except that it's implanted in the head and sends electrical impulses to the brain in order to treat such afflictions as chronic pain, depression, Parkinson’s disease, tremors and dystonia.

Now it looks like it could be used to improve memory in patients with Alzheimer's Disease.
