Apple says it now has 1 billion ‘active’ devices

Apple has announced its Q1 FY2016 earnings, and while it may have beat expectations, there's some concern as sales of its iPhones have slowed down. But amid all of its financial disclosures, the company revealed that it now has 1 billion "active" devices that are connected to its services.

1 billion total ACTIVE devices? At first I wasn't surprised until I heard 'active'. I guess if you consider how many people own an Apple computer, phone, and tablet then it's easier to understand.
