Piloted mission to mars? Wake me up when we can even go back to the moon. Hell, I don't even think we went to the moon more like HOLLYWOOD version of moon landing and yet we are already talking about Mars.

Interesting. But that would sure require a base of operations probably more expensive than Congress is willing to dispense when it's a place we've already been to and found nothing. That's a mighty big thing to ask just for a glorified gas station.
