Its inevitable I think - internet will win, but probably sport and live news will still persist on TV. Then again, "futurists" have been saying for ages that TV is dead, but its still here, doing a good job adapting with VOD, PVR, etc.
In a big way I am feeling scared about everything and anything is internet/downloadable bound.
The need to actually get out and travel, shell your hard earned cash and feel the actual hardware in your very hands.. all those moments will be lost.. like tears in the rain ( Bladerunner )..
..also I believe we will predictably be swamped by a ton of useless adverts with each and every download, which is a lot of wasted money on our internet usage but a money-making business scam for them.
Blu ray is far more reliable than streaming. No buffering for life.
