Global PC Shipments Continued Downward Trend in Fourth Quarter

Maximum PC: "While Microsoft’s recent claim that Windows 8 is following a similar sales trajectory as its predecessor may or may not be fully accurate, the latest PC shipment numbers from market research firms Gartner and IDC have made one thing very clear: that Windows 8 sales between October 26 and December 31 weren’t enough to help the PC industry avoid a rare fourth-quarter sales slump." (Gartner, IDC, Microsoft, PC, PC hardware, Windows, Windows 8)

Im lost pc or laptop?
most people dont buy desktops now adays anyways.
as long as geeks exist desktop pcs will have a place in this world.

tablet wise for windows 8 they need a killer product that's a cheap banger, ex Nexus 7 windows 8 edition.

but with everything post 2008 nothing but fads and bandwagons... sadly android has become a fad -_- and the short attention span consumers are looking for the next thing.
