HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S Devices Steal the WP8 Spotlight

Maximum PC: HTC and Microsoft just put the Windows Phone 8 community on notice -- the HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S are the devices to beat. What's interesting here isn't that HTC has Microsoft's full blessing -- technically, all Windows Phone manufacturers do -- but that HTC is being allowed to name its next generation smartphones after the platform it's built around. There's no mistaking which OS is running on the show on HTC's devices, whereas less savvy users might not be able to tell you right off the bat what OS Nokia's Lumia 920 is built around.

Finally companies are pulling their fingers out. If companies want to take on the likes of Apple they need to follow in the tracks of Nokia and HTC. Use of better designs, better use of colour integration, better UI's, better quality materials and more eye candy like.

Black and white designs are fading away. Lets hope to expect more colour to be used from now on. Obvious the message from Nokia is being heard loud and clear by others that using unique colours brings more attention to their products better than mono colours do.

Nokia became the best mobile phone company in the world in the 90's because they allowed multi colour changeable tops. Nintendo did the same with the Gameboy Pocket and Dell embraced uniqueness with colours and designs :)

If Microsoft could pull their manufactures and design teams together they might be a force to be reckoned with.
