TechRadar - Google Wallet launched with big fanfare last year, but has made little progress in the months that followed, largely because the wireless payment service was limited to prepaid or Citibank-issued credit cards.
That changed on Wednesday with a new update to the Google Wallet app, which now allows adding any credit or debit card from Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover.
Google Wallet comes to Android phones in the next few weeks.
Google just made things easier and combined both apps into one. And oh yea, a new name too.
Only a few months remain for Google Wallet's physical debit cards.
