Why don't you become the change you want. Do it yourself.

'cause we need them apps to fix all of the short-sighted mistakes Microsoft made, like lack of simple customizations. (of course, I mean in general with all the Windows 8 apps articles lately....not having widgets on the lock screen is not necessarily something I would consider a mistake)
