I've tried it and it was OK. Google still gives better results which isn't surprising... but it is better than bing.

It will for now, but as Google moved more and more into censorship and tracking, DuckDuckGo's user base will continue to grow.

I switched a while back and I love it. Yes it lacks the extras of Google, like maps but for basic search it works well.
