So as some of you may have suspected by now, sonicwrecks has been quietly stepped up to the ranks of mod!
As many of you know, I sometimes get too tied up with non-TechSpy related stuff and felt it was time to bring on someone else to the team. After months of looking on, I felt that sonic was really one of the best choices for his knowledge of how things work around here and consistency.
Of course I will still give him the 411 on what it takes to be a mod, and if he's a little too mean on you, let's forgive him and he's getting accustomed to what's right and not.

Thanks guys, I've actually been around and about in the background for a bit trying to help out with little things here and there and generally tidying up (hunting down tag problems and the like).
What this means for you isn't much really, but it does mean that there's another person around to get rid of any spam, make the judgement calls where necessary and push through anything that needs pushing through. Also another pair of eyes can't hurt when submissions are flying through like nobody's business.
You might even get the odd post fixed for you (in fact quite a few of you unknowingly already have had a post fixed by me, especially as the Beta is making it possible to leave things out of the post channels - please watch out for that btw.) Actions are those that would've happened anyway just sooner.
Needless to say Speed-Racer is prepping some stuff for the new year, and I'll be helping him where I can. You can also send me a PM if you have a question. To answer an earlier question yes I'm still in the competitions, I'm a Mod not a paid member of staff. :P And yes I've still got the same limitations on submissions as you do.
