The Sony Xperia S leads the charge, but as a newly branded Sony handset, does it move on from the Android Sony Ericsson devices of 2011? Techradar-"This is the second time out the gate for the Sony Xperia Tablet S. It originally launched in September, but was quickly pulled from the shelves thanks to a manufacturing fault. That's unfortunate for Sony, because in the interim the Google Nexus 10, Amazon Kindle Fire HD, iPad 4 and iPad mini have all hit the market."
Mobile & Apps: "At IFA conference, Wednesday, Sony took the lid off its newest Android tablet, the Sony Xperia Tablet S. The device, when compared to previous Android based tablets from Sony, is thinner and sexier and quite the powerhouse. The tablet sports a Quad Core Tegra 3 chip, 10-inch display, Android 4.0, up to 64GB of storage along with a microSD card slot for additional storage for those people who can fill up a 64GB drive in a matter of minutes."

On its launch, the Xperia S was applauded for its exquisite design, performance and camera but also received a lot of criticism for its battery and non-updated software.
