Cool Ways Virtual Reality Is Being Used In Therapy

Virtual reality therapy (VRT) (aka virtual reality exposure therapy) was first developed in the early 1990s by a USC graduate, named Dr. Ralph Lamson. Lamson wanted to develop a way to overcome his own fear of heights. By 1993, he began publishing his work and established a group of acrophobic patients who would brave the cyber world he created to help overcome their fears.
