With the announcement of Osama Bin Laden being "killed" rocking the world last night, the usual Facebook spammers have jumped on the bandwagon, taking advantage of such a momentous occasion.
Lots of my friends have been posting these links all day... Good thing I Google everything before I click something.
Do you google yourself?
I google myself all the time, hoping for a hit. Sadly, I have one of the most generic names on the planet so usually it's other (read: more important) people with my name. I google my name, 'About 18,600,000 results (0.10 seconds) "
i do google myself cuz i'm just a badass
I googled myself and came up with a eulogy, the internet equivalent of finding a tombstone with your name on it.
I've been unfriending everyone that posts one of these to my wall. :P
It's been coming up from some of my personal friends too, not the "fluff" friends that we all add :P I just delete the post and message the person and let them know that they got hacked.
Be ruthless, toaster!! Unfriend them all!!!! :D (but yes, it's courteous to let them know their account has been compromised)
You should hide their posts for a week, that's what kept me away from all this.. PEACE ON FACEBOOK!
Thats messed up. lol everyone clicks on them. I think maybe 50 of my friends accounts have been compromised but the event when it spams your wall only happens once. I actually want to see the video though.
Cat why did you delete me off Facebook *tear* LOLOL but seriously, I've heard friends saying they accidentally clicked it. I can't fault them sometimes because it autolikes the submission, but they should have still checked the URL before clicking out.
haha this happened to me to when i got this from a friend i was like really but now i know it wasnt really him sending it
