I got my first real look at the technology last fall at the big IFA show in Germany. Sony, Panasonic, and Samsung launched their initiatives at that show. Sony brought along its CEO, Sir Howard Stringer, who showed off a 3D movie and clips from 3D games and video. Sony and Panasonic also brought top execs to discuss their approach to the technology and how they plan to make it the heart of future HDTV pushes."
