It was only a matter of time before one of the big boys tried the motorised pop-up selfie-cam in a mainstream product. It's a good idea with a few obvious issues that the public will have to decide if they actually mind.

The time it takes to emerge and switch on being the biggest one - especially for facial recognition.
The camera snapping off or being a weak point in the build.
The motor failing and being stuck no means of pushing it out.
