YouTube, a popular media site for firearms enthusiasts, this week quietly introduced tighter restrictions on videos involving weapons, becoming the latest battleground in the U.S. gun-control debate.
What about one of their largest audiences, players playing games featuring guns and violence?
Looks like they are just trying to slowly kill off youtube entirety.
Good point. I had not thought of that. How about something like Call of Duty streams. Are those banned now too?
Youtube is slowly killing themselves with these idiotic policies. There are already superior video streaming sites available, and more and more people are going to eventually learn about them. I give Youtube another 2-3 years at best before they file for bankruptcy. If this recent change expands into banning violent video games also, then make it 6 months.
Yeah. This is the perfect time for alternative outlets to promote themselves more vigorously, stressing that they don't censor content based on politics or social sensibilities. Youtube is becoming too restrictive to continue functioning as the main outlet for alternative news and media.
Youtube isn't going anywhere anytime soon , for every handful of people complaining about them, there's millions of people looking up vids, or uploading vids.
