Both are soulless corporations beholden to their stockholders. You shouldn't expect either one to care about anything but their bottom line. I'm surprised it's taken them this long to shut free modding tools down since they turned GTA V into an online fat revenue stream.

That last part is the gamers' fault. They couldn't have done it without the players opening their wallets daily.
