Custom tile creation for the Start Screen in Windows 8 was a breeze with third-party app called OblyTile. But Microsoft changed enough under the hood of Windows 10 that OblyTile doesn’t work with the new operating system and probably never will, according to its developer.
Enter Pin More and Snowy Dune Launcher, a pair of apps from a single developer that together form a complete tile customization package for Windows 10.
And, for once, some of what it can do looks genuinely useful.
The blog post reads, “We’re introducing a new WhatsApp app for Windows that loads faster and is built with an interface similar to the app's mobile version.”
