In attempt to both democratize and curate the torrent of eyewitness video taken during news events, YouTube, the most robust repository of video on the planet, has launched their version of a news service, called YouTube Newswire.
According to Bloomberg, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has expressed concern regarding the potential misuse of platform content by OpenAI’s Sora, an AI-driven video creation tool.

Be interesting to see how this turns out. They say they are using third party to sift through submissions. Wouldn't be surprised if all the content you would see from this would be brought to by regulars. Much in the same way that a select few youtubers dominate already.
