VRFocus - Earlier this month VRFocus reported on the reveal of release details for upcoming smartphone-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) The GO from the newly merged company, ImmersiON-VRelia. Those that have pre-ordered the device should expect to see it delivered in December 2014. Don’t think that its launch will be the last you hear from the company either, as ImmersiON-VRelia has this week announced an expansion both at home and abroad.
The Facebook owned company faces a brand new lawsuit.
VRFocus- Virtual reality (VR) enthusiasts will be familiar with the concept of community meet ups in which developers and fans gather to talk about the technology. For the past few years this has proven to be a great way to share work with the wider VR community. Tomorrow sees VR site Upload launch what looks to be one of the biggest VR-centric events yet. The outlet is holding a showcase in San Francisco, California, USA that will serve to kick off a tour of VR events that will from across the USA and over to Europe.
VR is going to get really interesting in the next couple of years, I can't wait.
VRFocus- The 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA has showcased a lot of smartphone-based head-mounted displays (HMD) such as Samsung’s Gear VR. Another company at the event this year is ImmersiON-VRelia, which is exhibiting the recently-released The GO, another HMD that runs with a wider array of phones than what’s on offer with Samsung’s device.
Looks really really cool.
