Thousands fall for PS4 Facebook scam

Tech-Culture writes: Currently there’s lots of hype surrounding the next-generation of gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft, therefore it’s not surprising to see that thousands of avid gamers have fallen for a basic scam which is earning it’s creators thousands of likes on their Facebook pages. (Gaming, Microsoft, PS4, Sony)

Sick of these kind of pages, and those that promise free S4s or iPhone 5s.

You can't deny its funny though, anyone who falls for this deserves to be beaten over the head with a stick.

That's why the world needs to using Facebook for everything! If it was on Sony's official website shit like this wouldn't happen.

The saddest part is that if you're actually following the ps4 news you'd see that that's not the controller that Sony announced last month.

Sony never calls itself just "Sony" there's always a department behind it's name.

Sony computer entertainment
Sony music entertainment
Sony pictures entertainment
ect

It's all in the details. Unfortunaly that means many people simply wern't paying attaintion.

Honestly gave up trying to help people. If you are that stupid to think a company like Sony won't have something like this on an official site in some regards (even simply posting it on their blog) then you absolutely deserved the consequences.

Good ole saying, if its too good to be true..... its a scam :P
