Curiosity Drills Its Way Into Human History

ETECHMAG: We’ve sent up a lot of probes and rovers to Mars. They have left trails on the Martian surface, they have scooped and scraped up the Martian soil and rock. But for the first time in human history, a robot has drilled into a surface of a planet other than Earth. NASA’s Curiosity rover has successfully drilled into the Martian rock to reveal the pristine material. (Hi-tech)
