Maximum PC: The annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is coming up next week, and in the meantime, companies are having a tough time keeping products under wraps. One of the things that will be on display at CES is a premium IPS monitor lineup from LG. What makes LG's monitors stand out from the crowd, however, is that at least one will feature an UltraWide panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio.

the first OLED tv's from LG in 55 inch will be at the CES show and you can already pre-order them... how crazy is that.. we have seem OLED's at the CES before but they never had a real release date..
now you can pre-order one..
2013 is going to be an amazing year.. ton's of games -new consoles, new OLED tv's and now new monitors.. Wow

why is that important?
-because there are no TV shows broadcasting at higher then 1920 x 1080p which makes a 21:9 HDTV pointless (2560 x 1080p)...
