There are two kinds of people; those who know what their phone is capable of from a technical standpoint and those that revel in the fact their phone looks nice and has facebook on it.
Those who know base their next phone contract on technical specs are far more critical as to when or if they need to upgrade. Those who base it on looks and marketing spiel simply get whatever is new and shiny.
The latter point is in no way aimed at Apple iPhones. ;)
