Pocket-Lint: A new accessory could see retail staff armed with Apple iPod Touch devices, as it enables shop assistants to take payment from credit and story loyalty cards.
Honeywell’s Captuvo SL22 encases the iPod Touch and is fitted with the company’s Adapted Imaging Technology 6.0 that makes it possible for the iPod Touch to be used to read barcodes on products as well as the magnetic strips found on the back of credit and loyalty cards.
