Microsoft Loses EU Antitrust Appeal

Gadgehit.com writes: "Microsoft has lost an appeal against an antitrust case which saw the company receive a fine of over $1 billion around four years ago. EU anti-trust regulators originally fined Microsoft 497m euros in 2004 for abusing its dominant market position, a fine which was increased to 899m euros in 2008 for Microsoft’s failure to pay."
