Mashable- YouTube announced it will be shutting down after eight years and will no longer accept videos. The news comes, of course, just before April Fools' Day.
According to Bloomberg, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan has expressed concern regarding the potential misuse of platform content by OpenAI’s Sora, an AI-driven video creation tool.
Shaz from TL writes: “Linus Sebastian’s media company, Linus Media Group, is under fire. From ethical concerns with videos, to allegations of workplace harassment.”
If you need (or prefer) to read video content on YouTube, you have options.
Kinda getting tired of these April Fools pranks. What's the point of it if it's not a surprise?
thanks to Youtube is that I'm doing so good at Univ. right now. There are videos for virtually any course from computer programming to Physics, Calculus, History, etc.
Seriously, I never understand a damn thing on my Math courses at Univ but then I just go to Youtube and learn and understand everything perfectly. ;)
Best prank of the century, I can say that:D
