Do feel free to name a point during the entire article where I “praise Apple” or specifically “expect Samsung” to revolutionise every year. This is not meant to be a direct attack on any company, more a general statement that as smartphones become less like gadgets and more like appliances, the developments between iteration have slowed and smartphones in general are pretty boring, lifeless slates.

All common problems with the Google line of phones - I was lucky that my Nexus 4 worked perfectly fine! It's true the 8 and 8 Plus aren't the significant steps over the 7 to be worthy of purchase (I'd question if it's better enough than the 6S I used to have, even). But as with all Apple products, it's always worth giving their new products a year and settling for the second generation. The iPhone X is futuristic as hell, but does have some UI issues to deal with (i.e. Fac...

Didn't delete it at all. My response is right next to it.

Really simple in execution, but great for attracting attention. But my question - which will only be answered by store sales data - is will these actually help encourage sales, or just be a nice in-store distraction?

How do I report a duplicate story on the mobile version of the site? http://techspy.com/news/199...

With Samsung's reputation for smartphones up in flames (pun not intended), to do that and create a sympathetic story is going to be a tricky one.

A lot of stories go around, as people constantly search for the 'next best thing.' But the market for social networks has become saturated to the point where none of these really pick up.

Thoughts on the announcement? To me it doesn't seem like the breakthrough Apple expected it to be.

Whatever it is, something farted on Mars and Curiosity was there to smell it. Exciting stuff!

That's where I can see this going. As the technology behind this moves forward, the cost of the parts will go down for these. Just a shame it takes a while for this to happen, bringing down the quality of life with it.

It's not down?

Because, unfortunately, Newsboilers are always about the first post, regardless of quality. One of the downsides to Techspy

I always wanted one to take care of my bullies in school. "Remember me? Wedgie this."

I think that's the point of the story.

He didn't say anything about transferring to HDD; but the app syncs your video clips to iCloud (and Google Drive when released on Android).

The takedown discussions do exist, as he links to here http://anonnews.org/forum/p... but after reporting on the previous November 5th threat myself, I can't see it happening.

As far as I remember, last year's threat was a by small sect of anonymous who acted independently outside of the standard anonymous group to attack Facebook - the 'actual' anon group posted up a press release sa...

Selling for 269 quid over here, so its the 208+VAT. Still not that £199 or $299 sweet spot. They'd probably sell like hotcakes with a price that attractive.

I don't know, just seems weird that they didn't go for that..

$329 is a really wonky price point for the iPad Mini.
