strange. I use my iPhone to film while outside at temp ranging in the -20 many times a week and I never add hardly any signs of malfunction. And I keep it in an outside pocket, so the phone become as cold as the weather very quickly. I dropped it several times in the snow while having only a simple cover and it never stopped working.
this won't surely become a recreational, available over-the-counter drug for a Friday night out. I can't see it legally used other ways than within a structured rehabilitation program with medical support.

And please stop buying "Ergocrap" made out of gel. Instead, invest a few $$$ for an actual analysis of your workstations (playstation, in that case). You won't end up buying expensive "ergothings" and never feel pain again.
yeah it is a big problem here too. in a construction zone , i saw an officer today warning a girl three times by waving his hand outside of his car while they were driving side-by-side (she came in real fast from the left lane). as soon as the police car took an exit every driver behind him just sped up like they were on fire (with the lucky no-ticket girl leading trying to keep her first place).
I don't find anything strange in a hardware centered business to release hardware update to keep up with competitors specs. people rushing to change their almost new iphone 4 for no apparent reason could be laughed at, but if it was a planned change anyway or a first phone then go for it.
the very least a company should do to get customer money , is to appear as in constant evolution, either by marketing or by technology, ideally both!
We also found the hard way the existence of in-app buy function last year after getting two iPads and letting kids play with them. 50$ charged on a credit card makes you learn very fast the settings of any device! We laughed it out though, because it was our fault not the kid's or Apple's fault. Parents suing for that are not responsible at all and should question their parenting skills...
