they can but they won't. nobody really expect the retina display will be this huge. its way too many risk to boost up the production at that time.

but what the news didn't mention is Apple's laptop is probably the strongest one of all notebook. i have a 6 and a half years macbookpro and the only thing that ever break is the battery.

something that i couldn't get from my acer and dell!

some people here have no idea what happened in China. As soon as they see Apple, China and Foxconn, the Bash Apple comments is simply there. its like a reflex

Foxconn is probably one of the best place for labor in China. No, I was wrong. Foxconn's Apple division is. Even Dell HP and MS division are currently threatening the company to treat them like worker at Apple division.

Yes, its the fact!

they're being very smart about this security fiasco. next osx has a 'feature' only to install app purchased from mac app or trusted vendor. though it can be easily shutter down, average user won't have the virus problem anymore.

i honestly think the recent virus attacks is actually a good way to promote this 'idea'

there's always someone on apple related article, bashing apple product, mocking apple user, without any solid argument.

@silvacrest

funny because I'm in iOS game industry, and most of gamedev i know rejoice for the pixel+gpu upgrade. and thats a fact.

logically speaking, the new iPad is probably the most significant upgrade people may notice in iPad history. you should see how retina display works. its just beautiful.

o really? please, name one 'decent' tablet that run a 'decent' os built for touch based system!

it is damn easy to built a proper hardware. its hard to make it properly work. hasn't anyone learnt from the iPhone phenomena? some vendors just don't understand that making applicable tech is not simply putting kick-ass hardware on their device. this is exactly why iPhone and iPad market share stand still!

so please enlighten me, which table overdo apple's current spec?

i agree apple most apple products are just another shiny stuff, but iPad has defined tech since the very first one, and the third one too!

@cynbical

you simply don't understand Titanz statement. new iPad is definitely good enough for gamer. yes it won't beat vita, but surely it will someday. but the point is, with so much pixel they have to fill (more than twice vita pixel) and hardware that is almost match the vita (both has quad core GPU), its revolutionary it can hold for 8-10 hours. heck even vita can only hold for 4-5 hours.

4442d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

most people tend to forget the new quad core gpu. thats officially better than ps vita (gnu-wise, and by number not benchmark). for me thats a huge selling point. i can't wait to see how game industry reacts to this.

@soldierone

you're kidding right? Sony HAS to wait for 6 year because the dev cant change technology each year, thats the case for consoles and portable gaming.

tablet, pc, and cellphone can't do that because they have to follow the pace of technology to sell their product. thats why SONY, nokia, Samsung and others make new PRODUCTS every year.

this is exactly why the gov think we need the acts sopa pipa kinda shit!

i think this one needed to be discussed:

Here's where things get murky. According to Chinese news source Sina, Proview Shenzhen went broke in Aug. 2010. The Bank of China is now apparently one of 9 companies that own Proview—meaning it's owned by the Chinese government. Apple, it seems, is going up against more than a small bankrupt company. It's going up against China.

funny how things work huh...

4462d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

this is very confusing. if apple gone rage on china based companies that copies iPad, they would be in big trouble.

i believe this case will be 'settled' soon. its just another company trying to test their luck and perhaps they'll get 10% of the amount.

i think this is the main problem of android (and wp) users: seperated hardware and software maker makes it hard for users to adopt new software.

http://androidandme.com/201...

apple users on the other hand dont have this problem.

well that wont harm me much! who the hell browse while gaming anyway?

what bothers me a lot is people tend to forget that voice recognition, like any other recognition, is also a hardware sensitive software. it means that different microphone might have different results.

this is probably why tellme wont work. ms made the software but others made the hardware. its hard for the ms to control the voice input from the microphone, and i'm damn sure the hardware manufacturer wont bother digging through the program to make it works properly with...
