linux has come a long way from back in the days.
and yeah if your grandma is planning on doing programming or dos related commands, sure linux is not for her. but if all shes doing is using the internet, watching movies, viewing pictures, linux is more than sufficient nowadays. linux mint especially is as easy as using windows if you doing basic-intermediate tasks.

well they "phone bored" because they have nothing interesting in their thoughts.
most of them dont dream up new ideas or think of ways to improve things and im not talking about creating the next phone/best app/building spaceships, i mean simple things like improve studying methods, schooling ideas, social ideas to do with friends etc etc. nowadays its all about selfies and text messages or communicating with others in a virtual space.

its no wonder th...

why are people so shocked......facebook is the biggest data collection app on the internet.
the simplest way to get information from anyone is just ask them for it. facebook made those tick/text boxes readily available and people just blindly entered into it.

the pc is indeed an open platform but using MS windows on your pc would make MS be allowed to dictate what they would prefer you use. they wont stop you or make it impossible for you to download other apps/browsers but they will default to theirs. if you dont like being told what to use, then you can install any other OS on your PC.

im not defending MS, just saying it like it is.

just reading the preview of this article makes me not even want to click the link.
first off, it was advertised on all launch consoles as a feature over the 360. as a matter of fact there was an option to install other OS on all firmwares before 3.55. they only removed it after geohot used linux to hack the console.....so how this guy claims not to know any of that shows ignorance and isnt worth my time reading anything else he has to say.

AMD is on a roll this gen with their processors.
heres to buying one in the near future.
waiting for RAM and GPU prices to drop though. unless i go with something like a 1050 but its not worth it when you look at price/performance

CTs went from relatively unknown to known as complete trash. what a way to ruin your name while trying to make it. also i like how they claim "amd wouldnt be able to fix it in the near future" without giving AMD, the creators of the chip who know it better than anyone else, time to sort it out. also, cfw is not safe or is only as safe as its developed to be. if the cfw has holes, that means theres nothing wrong with the product off the factory floor....unless said cfw can be easily ...

need to change the clickbait headline to specify that its only mikrotik routers that are affected not every router which was the case with intel and AMD cpus regarding Meltdown and Spectre.

well thats the other problem, if you going to do youtube as a side gig without having the intention of doing it full time, you might not put as much effort into it knowing that even if you fail, you ok coz you have a job. however if you start off making youtube videos with the intention of making it a full time job, even if you have another job you will make the effort and work twice as much to make it work.

anybody that decides from day 1 youtube is their job is an idiot ...

well not at all.
even if they had found incriminating evidence, nothing could be done because the evdence was obtained illegally unless best buy had you sign an agreement that any info on your phone was allowed to be shared with 3rd parties and it was clearly stated and pointed out to you that that was a possibilty. if no agreement was signed and the FBI knocked on my door 2 things would happen
1) there warrant holds no weight because the evidence cannot be used.

Social media has given a voice to dumb people to express themselves and their opinions to a greater audience.

thats like saying dont work hard trying to be anything because 96% earn less than you think they do.
if people had this attitude than there would be no progression. its like telling elon musk, forget space travel coz nasa already has it covered and the other 90% of people that tried failed.

there are always alternatives for when a currency crashes. look no further than zimbabwe. as for the pros and cons...the cons far outweigh the pros, so much so, that its really nothing more than a leech at this point. like i stated in my original comment, that while it has the potential to be used for honest purposes, 80% of its usage seems for more negatives than anything else. also those overnight millionaires you speak of, most of, if not all, have gone back to everyday currencies. i mean ...

crypto-mining is a virus thats damaging the entire PC environment.
everything from hardware prices going up to websites being hacked to peoples pcs getting hijacked to mine is being affected by this. not to mention an increase in its popularity is also a cause for ransomware attacks on the rise where people can demand to be paid in crypto-currency so they can continue to remain anonymous.

in all honesty, crypto-currency in the present stage is nothing positive a...

erm.......rriiiiight. because if you had $100million dollars in your bank account giving it all away for cures for diseases is the only thing you'll do with all that money. please stop taking the "holier than thou" route here. whether hes contributed because of family reasons or otherwise, he's still contributed more than you ever will.
