I'm religious and don't force it on anyone and my beliefs don't require people to bend backwards to accommodate me. No, I'm not stupid and yes I know there's no proof of God's existence but I just have an intrinsic feeling that there is a God, I feel there is a higher power. Even though I'm religious I realise that religion in general is man made and is used as a means of controlling the population.
