From 4 years ago, I would argue that cpu's have undergone a massive leap. And the amount of cores really shouldn't be your standard to set on cpu performance. For proof, i7 quad core is much faster than any 6 and 8-core amd (although not factoring in cost, cause intel are more spendy).

No the vita doesnt combine the power of integreted and deticated graphics. Not even laptops are doing that yet that I know of. My i7 laptop picks to use either one depending on the demand, but doesnt combine them.
4 years? So youve never heard of the i5 and i7 (especially 3rd gen, which uses virtu mvp technology to combine integreted graphics with your deticated card) completely dominating amd cpu's?

I agree price is tad better on amd cards and they have finally caught up to nvidia now in great driver support. However, where amd is still playing second fiddle, is that thier cards kick out more heat and burn up more watts than nvidia. Im not saying thats a huge factor for alot of people, but I still prefer my electronics to run cooler.
Haskell seems like large boost to average to low end pc buyers due the 50% boost to integrated graphics. However, to anyone using a discrete viedo card, theres almost no benefit to upgrading as the speed increase of the chip at this point is sounding like it almost none.

Idk its not really that high of a cost. I paid $180 for a samung 840, 250gb and I'd do it again. I just wish games would optimized for it actually make games run faster because they don't other than load up levels faster, but once your in, no change.
I upgraded my destop and laptops with ssd's and love it. Boot times and loading times are vastly improved.
The disappointment I found with ssd (besides the high cost) is that I didn't get any performance boost in any game. Other than levels loaded up way faster.

Seems kind of like an overkill to SLI such high end cards at this point in time.

Hence,this price isn't really accurate. The Samsumg Galaxy goes for $200-$250 with the bigger hard drive and the most pricey line is the Galaxy Note 2 at $300.

Your overall experience is opinion based, not fact as you present it. And also A5 and A6 lose in every way to any high end android tablet tests.
Especially considering A5 and A6 are all produced by Samsung and sold to apple, there isn't anything revolutionary going on with those chips that Samsung doesn't already do in their own android tablet chips.
