Part of me really hopes PornHub can gain funding, but then another part of me doesn't want to give up on society.
I think there is a lot of potential for consumers to become representatives on social media for businesses they support. I think it only makes sense that they'd also receive some sort of compensation. Really hope this works, it'd be pretty cool!
You'd be surprised how little most people know about technology. I had a sales person at Best Buy ask what I was wearing, when I replied with Google Glass she didn't seem to know what it was.. Even someone who works around technology doesn't need to follow it.
They also probably out-returned Macbooks by a factor of 5 too. Every non-tech person I've talked to who owns a Chromebook complains that they can't install Office on them.
Disclaimer: I think Chromebooks are awesome.
It's amazing how much energy Bill had.
I love the HTC One, but I can't stand how much Verizon costs. I'm planning on switching to T-Mobile once my contract is up and hopefully by then HTC will have another great device ready to be released.
Dilawer you are very misinformed. The companion application is if you want to use GPS and SMS with Google Glass. I'm assuming they will be adding additional features in the future.
Unless you are an explorer from Google I/O 2012 you MUST go to one of the three pickup locations to get the XE of Glass. If you can't travel they have stated they will make consideration on a case by case basis.
So since I got into the program from #ifihadglass on Google+ I...
How do you figure? It's limited production at this point in time, the cost to produce Glass is more expensive, plus the XE edition involves going into Google's office to pick up and get training.
XE also has the caveat of being in contact with the Glass team; so you can shape how Glass turns out as a final product.
$1,500 is a lot of money, but it's well worth it in my opinion.
If you aren't a glass explorer you can't afford it because you can't buy it! It can only run on the account that's registered when it's picked up from Google, otherwise it'll get deactivated.

Considering I'm a Glass Explorer and haven't gotten an email yet to buy them, I doubt they will have them released to everyone as soon as August.
It was likely a device with the wrong date. It's really hard have a release date for a product that is still being tested by the community.
Touche. My Americanism has really shown today assuming only Americans would see this post.
Why does the version number matter? It's just a number..
Tegra 3 is tablets might be out by the end of the year.
Well I'm typing this up from a PC so nope it's not dead. I don't know if there will ever be a time that the PC will be dead. I love having two big monitors, and I love the performance I get from a PC as opposed to mobile devices.
There might be a time when I can get something like an iPad that is powerful enough to do everything I need to do, however that day isn't today and I highly doubt it's around the corner.
Most patents aren't very productive. This one is one of them. It's kind of like people who buy a domain name with the anticipation of selling the domain name. Most startups don't have the money to buy that domain name from another person and the same is true with patents IMO.
He is retired but he still keeps up with tech companies, especially the one he created.
But will it blend?
Well that's a terrible idea.
I'm really interested about how Chicago's cloud tax will play out for other cities. I'm not sure if it really solves the problem.
