People who think that protests do anything are usually rich sheltered kids. If they have been to poor areas where law enforcement is nonexistent or to third world countries such as where my folks emigrated from, they would sing a different tune.

Its in Swedish but it roughly translates to libraries destroying and in come cases, burning books that may be "perceived" as racist. Remind me again who burned books in Europe?
The EU isn't doing anything to help its members, in fact right now it's suing Poland for not flooding its borders with migrants who strain the social wellfare systems. Offering some Wi-Fi isn't going to cover that up. That doesn't even consider the fact that the EU believes in censorship and arrest of political dissidents.

Banning stuff =/= moving into the future. It actually slows progress by crippling the economy. Electric vehicles will be the future but this only stifles innovation by squeezing out poor people and small businesses if electric vehicles are not affordable enough by that time.
I would have to agree, the lack of parenting these days is horrifying. Although the culture doesn't help, it encourages parents to offload their kids and let the "public" indoctrinate..ahem..I mean raise them.
