Wireless Goodness: The Apple iPad 2 may be dominating headlines today, but lets not forget ASUS’ growing lineup of tablets. Today, the company’s Windows 7-powered Eee Pad made an appearance on the FCC, winning approval for its WiFi and Bluetooth functionality.
Liliputing - Earlier this week Intel officially launched its new Intel Atom Oak Trail chipset for low power tablets, smartphones, netbooks and other mobile devices, promising that more than 35 products would ship this year with Atom Z670 chips. One of the products featured on Intel’s press page for the Oak Trail platform caught my eye: The Asus Eee Pad Slider.

Best Buy has published a special promotion page for ASUS’ Eee Pad Transformer and it’s by far one of the most creative, most hilarious, and most blunt ads I’ve ever seen. It’s such a beautiful sight.
Engadget: Never mind the cringe-inducing advertising, ASUS has given us a much better reason to care about its Tegra 2-toting Eee Pad Transformer: a $400 price. The 10.1-inch Honeycomb tablet (with 1280 x 800 resolution on an IPS display) has quickly moved from its Taiwanese release, through yesterday's UK pricing announcement, to today showing up at Best Buy in the US, so we suspect its global shipping can't be far off at all.
