EXPERTS have slammed a new Barbie doll incorporating a hidden video camera, as a potential paedophile's paradise.
Here’s to hoping Hello Barbie has cleared off a spot in the Dream Home’s trophy case for a dubious honor: the eavesdropping doll that got privacy advocates talking — and not in a good way — has topped all other nominees for Worst Toy of The Year and will be taking home the win.
A recent review of the Internet-connected Hello Barbie doll from toymaker Mattel uncovered several red flags. Not only did the toy use a weak authentication mechanism that made it possible for attackers to monitor communications the doll sent to servers, but those servers were also vulnerable to POODLE, an attack disclosed 14 months ago that breaks HTTPS encryption.
Why would a Barbie Doll even have a camera on it in the first place...

LOOL this is pretty funny. I'm trying to think of a reason why Barbies would have a camera on them in the first place... the targeted demographic for these probably don't know how to even use a camera.
