Size of 4K Movies Revealed: Won't Fit on Blu-ray

Gadgehit.com writes: "After Sony’s live Consumer Electronics Show 2013 conference, President and Chief Operating Officer Phil Molyneux had some very interesting comments on the future of Blu-ray disc and Ultra High Definition 4K (four times the resolution of the current 1080p HD standard) video content." Ok Phil Molyneux said, "If you look at the Bluray format and the density of a 4K native content movie, you can’t fit it on a bluray disc. it’s a 120gigs depending on the length of movie …We’ve got to find the other way, which is downloading."

Downloading??? - Are you kidding me??? you think people who have trouble getting a 2 gig movie file are going to download a 120 Gig movie... LMAO..

- I don't think so... Clearly Sony has a new upgraded Blu-ray disc for PS4 which fit's 4k movies fine..

It's most likely going to make buying 4k Blu-ray movies a big hit again because downloading that on anything but a FIOS connection is going to be painful..

Yeah seems unlikely to be downloading, although if Google has there way, we could be look at massively faster internet connections in the near future.
