VIA announces 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 Pico-ITX board

The Inquirer - VIA, which has been putting out low power x86 chips for years, has finally launched a Pico-ITX board featuring an ARM SoC. The firm launched the VAB-800, which features an 800MHz or 1GHz Freescale Cortex A8 SoC and 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

What sets VIA's board apart from the immensely popular Raspberry Pi, aside from the amount of RAM, is a SATA port and the option of up to 64GB of embedded memory on board. There's also support for two GPUs with dual display support.
