Don't worry, it'll be denied for a century and then we'll already be committed.
"It’s only ‘wireless’ in the sense that you don’t have to plug a charger cable into the phone, but the phone is still effectively tethered to the charging plate."
So really, it's just the convenience of saving 5 seconds of plugging in the cord.
I updated the app and this didn't work for me. Android 4.1
edit: I can only get it to work by touching the video and dragging the camera. And only in portrait mode, so it's super tiny.
Welp....that was worth spending a half an hour trying to fix the bogus "Insufficient space" glitch and having to re-download a bunch of apps.
Between all of the ad blocking (because of obnoxious ads), the interface being pointlessly overhauled every 6 months (discouraging regular users), the payment system that encourages quantity over quality (thus filling Youtube with quantity instead of quality)....I can't say that I'm surprised.
Allllllllll they have to do is listen to their users and content creators.
What a shame. Something like 10,000 people die as the result of drunk and/or high drivers every year in the US alone.
"Don't drink/get high and drive" is great advice, but since overindulging can lead to impaired judgement and your judgement gets worse with every drink/drag/etc (and drunk/high people don't typically respond to cheesy anti-drug commercials), I just say "Don't drink/get high". But hey, that's just me.
Finally; a way to charge my phone on the bus!
"why did you choose not to talk about what the topic is actually discussing?"
Who do you think bans people on Twitter? The team that handles abuse reports and "abuse" reports.
And quadrupling its censorship.
Look at how Thunderf00t got suspended for simply linking to a video critical of Anita Sarkeesian. You're not allowed to disagree with SJWs on Twitter.
Does this mean that I can officially be a turkey sandwich on FB?
Finally, the oppression comes to an end!
The original digital image, unaltered, is displaying pixels that are a white with only the faintest, FAINTEST tint of blue and a brownish color. And I mean as detected by image software.
Unless you're a photographer that notices the signs that the image was taken with a camera that poorly handled the lighting and you deduced what the colors actually were or you knew something about the dress already, there was no reason anyone should have seen "black and blue"....
They could have integrated G+ without ever making it automatic/mandatory/ obnoxious and things would have been fine, but they chose to force it on us and it only repelled people.
Yeah, Microsoft seems to come out with these futuristic movies/ads/ promotions/whatever you want to call them, every couple of years.
Always a classroom with technology that only a preposterously overbudgeted school could afford (even if it becomes a little more affordable in the future).
Someone in the middle of no where using overcomplicated technology.
An office building with "productive" hardware with barely explained interfaces...
I've had a terrible experience with my Lenovo laptop and mine wasn't even one with Superfish on it (Superfish came out shortly after); I can't imagine having that issue on top of everything else. I'll have to go with a different brand next time.
Geeeeeeeee, maybe if you didn't ruin the interface every 6 months, people might be more inclined to make daily visits? If you didn't destroy the comments system, people would form a tighter community?
And maybe if you didn't have a payment system that encouraged quantity over quality?
Also, perhaps less obnoxious advertisements would encourage less adblock usage?
Was the rest of the bill/proposal released to the public before the final vote? I'm for making all data equal, but a lot of censorship rules and other BS could be stuffed into a 300+ page law.
I would love to turn off ABP, but so many ad servers are super unsafe and you don't even need to click on anything to have an issue.
I haven't even had to clean up a minor threat on my computer since I started using ABP and I have no intention of going back (unless a website makes a very open gesture to say that they've done this and that to make their site safe for their users).
Counter offer: stick of gum.
They had to; when their writers were lying, they were getting called out on it. Feedback is scary and counterproductive to media.
But seriously, that seems to be a growing trend, which is upsetting in the modern era of low quality journalism.
Before people start celebrating and throwing around their usual Apple bashing, just be aware that Smartflash is a patent troll. They could sue Samsung, Microsoft, Motorola - ANYONE - next week.
Patent Trolls are garbage. Non-practicing entities should be forced to pay higher taxes if they're even allowed to exist.
Just rename Windows to "Halo" and get it over with already.
