It might be a while before I get another one - the moment they took away the ability to upgrade the RAM yourself was kind of a big deal for me. It doesn't look like you can even upgrade the HDD or get a matte screen option anymore, either...
"Tamper resistant stickers that prevent consumers from opening their electronics violate federal law."
No they don't. That is a misinterpretation of whatever law the author thinks these things are violating. These stickers are there to prevent people from claiming a free repair on something they themselves broke. They let the manufacturer know whether the damage is caused by a legit defect or human error.
bu-bu-but... i thought only apple sues??
please elaborate since sony has provided probably the strongest gaming experiences this generation.
i'd like to know how paying $60 a year to access half of (pretty much) every game on the market is a good thing. i'd like to know how a subscription service (which is optional, and doesn't affect the level of access to any games you purchase) that provides hundreds of dollars of free/discounted content every month is "mediocre".

@ evil_element:
how does that change the fact that pretty much all new TV tech is super expensive when it first hits the market?
recession or not (and frankly, canada hasn't really been in any sort of recession - at least that i've noticed - for a long time now), the average person couldn't afford a plasma/LCD/LED TV when they were new, either.
what are these retards crying over now?
people didn't have that much money to throw around when plasma/LCD/LED TVs hit the market, which were all about that expensive as well.
the thing people aren't grasping is that the price of those TVs won't be that high forever, and new TV tech is always ridiculous when it's first introduced.
hey moron, there are certain things that the public needs to know, and there are certain things that need to stay private. i don't see how any of this benefits anyone if it has the potential to cause innocent lives.
seriously, what good does this do? if anything they're endangering innocent people.
hey, did you know that MS and google just ended a patent lawsuit against each other of their own?
no? then pull your head out of your ***, and realize that apple isn't the only who has gone to court over patent issues.
"bu-bu-but apple sues more..."
no. it only seems that way because of idiot android/PC fanboys.
was this study conducted by the society of captains for the glaringly obvious?
"What Verizon didn’t mention is that this IS the phone that could shut Apple down this holiday season"
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahaha
no.
i don't recall anyone calling for his death. maybe that was something made up by republiclod pundits as most things attacking the left are...
okay... but how does stealing the average user's information, people who haven't done a thing wrong to cause anonymous' misguided wrath = screw those corporate ebay scoundrels?
no one here has yet to say how hacking a site to steal user information benefits society in any way, shape or form.
what difference does that make? it certainly doesn't make the theft of information any better...
what good does hacking paypal do, apart from stealing people's information "for the greater good"?
not angry at all.
i'm pretty sure that the "magnitude" is only amplified by the popularity of slagging apple. you might easily be able to find that apple isn't suing any more than any other corporation, so in a way you are singling out.
no corporate cheerleading here, just calling people who cry about the dumbest s**t out on their BS. i'd be the first person to voice my concern should apple actually do something completely abhorrant,...
it probably won't even go to court - they'll likely just pay the artist whatever he deserves to get paid for the use of his image and call it a day.
It's not real currency...
