Demo unit. Most likely not on there. The interfaces still seemed "clunky" to use though. I guess if you had a touch screen desktop it would be smoother.
Let me break it down to you CHILD/SHILL. I was trying a demo in a crowded store around Christmas. If i had hours to play around with THE FULL version those options might have been there or i would have found them. It still doesn't change the fact though that i am not impressed with a tacky, neon, interface that looks like something my niece would have on one of her "computer for kids" toys. I finally got a chance to play with Win 8 at OfficeMax a while back. I'm glad i have a disk copy of Win7. The Win8 interface is too neon and tacky looking to me. Also, really cumbersome just to get things done. It seems the tiles are used for navigating menus (even from traditional desktop)and program settings. Also, i could not find how to access the control panel anywhere. Maybe it was blocked on the demo i tried but if it isn't allowed or is tedious to get to then fixing common win...
I hope the edge to edge screen thing doesn't catch on. I'm constantly hitting buttons by mistake on my S3. I can't imagine the amount of screw ups i would make on a screen that went all the way to the edge.
It's also something that will never take off in the mobile market no matter how much Android/iOS/Windows pushes it due to carriers severely limiting data plans.

There's a map app called "Waze". It's pretty good and has a type of mini game built in where it keeps track of how much you drive and you level up if you beat other drivers around you. Plus has a social function where other users can report traffic, accidents, cops radaring, and other stuff.

I like my iPod touch. I can take it with me when i fly to other countries and have access to all my games, email, files, etc without having to worry about my phone roaming charges if i took it instead.

Still not worth it to me. I work 12-13 hours a day, 6 days a week. The last thing i want to do on my day off is stand out in the cold at midnight to get a cheap TV, laptop, or game. I would WAAAAY rather do a little gaming and spend some quality time with my wife.
Not worth going out and dealing with all the idiots. I'll be home enjoying my day off and playing Skyrim.
