Yeah, China is givin US so cheap loans that when is comes to paying those back, inflation has already eaten so much that US actually pays less back. China keeps pushing it's currency down and that may eventually be the end of it.
War with China wouldn't be wise China being a nuclear power. Also note that China is pretty much keeping the US standing.
